Please come in whatever your comfortable in. The dress code will be smart.
Guests are welcome to change in to more comfortable clothes at the reception venue.
It may be useful to bring a pair of flat shoes for the reception.

we are unable to provide transport, and due to the rural location guests will likely need to drive / car share.
Let Lil know if you need to car share
It will be roughly 40 minutes. For nervous drivers, there will be a convoy of cars travelling so you can follow them.
If you would like to follow someone, please speak with Lil so she can make sure her sister or Mum knows you want to follow her.
Due to limited numbers, we are unable to extend the invite to plus ones.
Unless stated in the invite, children are not invited to the ceremony or reception.
As much as we both love dogs, guests are asked not to bring their dogs on this occasion.
Guests can book a hotel the night before the wedding in Bala, we reccomend the White Lion Hotel, Plas yn Dre, Red Lion or a local airbnb.
We have limited yurts available for guests. Unless otherwise stated, we recommend booking hotels in either Llansilin or Oswestry. Local recommendations include the Premier Inn (Oswestry), The Wynnstay Hotel, or Sweeney Hall Hotel.
Lil has a taxi contact for those who may wish to get a taxi to the hotel after the evening celebrations.
Both venues are mostly on one level with no steps.
There is also a disabled toilet on site.
Yes, there are communal toilets. There are mens, womens and disabled toilets.
Due to limited number of yurts, most guests will need to share.
We will ensure we only allocate shared yurts with guests who already know each other.
Guests are not obliged to stay in a yurt, some guests may be able to camp, or the nearest town is roughly 15 minutes drive away with plenty of hotels.
If the weather is dry, we will do a mix of indoors and outdoors.
If it is raining, we will keep all activities indoors.
Yes there will be a wedding breakfast early afternoon, early evening food and some snacks.
There will be some welcome drinks, table wine, tea and coffee, but the venue is bring your own booze and has self catering facilities.
Yes, the venue is also self-catering with a communal kitchen where guests can store any food they want to.
The church itself does not have parking. There are two carparks guests can park at, one is free parking at the football club, or paid parking at the green carpark.
Using the coordinates provided, yes there is a carpark for guests at the reception.
We ask guests to not take pictures during the church ceremony, but please feel free to take as many pictures once the ceremony has completed.
Please do not post on social media until Matt or Lil have shared their news.
Yes, Matt & Lil have planned things throughout the day, but we are also going for a relaxed vibe for the reception.
The day after the wedding hasn't been decided yet, and is less related to the wedding and more freedom for guests to choose what they would like to do. We will communicate more on this closer to the time.
There's plenty of outdoor activities in Bala. There is a big lake with watersports, beautiful walks in the surrounding area, plenty of pubs along the high street and plenty of nice restaurants.
